Over the course of the insanely hot summer, I am often asked by people if I am enjoying the stillness of the summer season when the stores are quieter and we no longer have the hustle and bustle of the holidays. My answer is always the same “Are you crazy? The summer is just as busy!” Between catalogue shoots and meetings to secure the perfect ribbons, bows and packaging; there is no down time in the world of retail. This year, much of the summer has been spent trying to perfect some new specialty chocolates we are developing for release later this year. While the exact flavor profiles are still classified as “top secret”, I can assure you that they are going to be amazing! Check back often for additional details on these extra special confections.
